Concept: spiritual lighting

The whole process of making this model:

_ 1st step: Draw the part of south elevation from image

_2nd step: Ready the file for laser cutting

_3rd step: Laser cut the both side elevation as a curt board for using hot wire

_4th step:

Cut the white foam in band saw according to the dimension and also the width of wall was tapered, so done that in band saw and and disk sander

_5th step:

-Start practicing with hot wire to do the recessed angular shape window
-working on hot wire was little tricky
- the temperature should be really low, other wise it will burn the curt board

Project 1 submission

Project 1: Shade

Process of this project:

_ 1st step:

·         Download the similar model from internet
·         Then modify it according to the concept
·         Divide the hemisphere
·         Made a double layer in each part border line-to have stability

_2nd step:

·         convert the stl file to flashmob file
·         Print the model- each part in 3d printer, upper part needed 7.5 hours and lower part needed 5 hours.
(It was necessary to print each part in different way to achieve better workmanship
in outer surface: upper part, inner surface: loser part. Because that parts where more visible.)

_3rd step:

·         Built the base of the shade
·         It was important to hide all light accessories in there.
·         Measure all the light fixing material(like: battery, switch)
·         According to that construct the base box

_4th step:

·         Setup the wiring with small led light
·         Fix the wiring with battery
·         Then these four wires had to joint with switch board
·         So that the whole model is very easily movable and just switch on the light anywhere
